Tree Plantation

Tree plantation means planting trees and plants. The purpose of tree plantation is save the endangered environment and to beautify our life. Trees are valuable gifts of nature. They are known as the best friends of human beings. They benefit us in various ways

The ecological benefits of plantation: Trees make the home for birds and other animals and insects, helping to keep up the ecosystem rolling. Trees make forests and that in turn help the earth in many ways like giving home to animals and bringing rains and prevents desertification.Many species of wildlife depend on trees for habitat. Trees provide food, Trees give off oxygen that we need to breathe. Trees reduce the amount of storm water runoff, which reduces erosion and pollution in our waterways and may reduce the effects of flooding.

A tree plantation drive was observed at Gitanjali Teachers’ Training College (GTTC) on 5th June, 15th August and Rakhi Purnima. The main aim of this drive was to spread and create awareness to protect the environment from degrading.
